Catherine received this note from a job seeker last week: “I am going through some emotional trauma right now. How do I appear positive while I am hurting on the inside?”
Chances are good you know exactly what that job seekers is talking about. All of us are facing unprecedented levels of uncertainty and anxiety in our lives. Keeping our families, communities and career together in the middle of all this is HARD. Almost every single day, we are being called on to have hard conversations about money, health and career. Join Kalli and Catherine for an open, honest chat about how to lead those courageous conversations in a way that is productive and loving at the same time.
About the speakers: They teamed up during the Great Recession to help job seekers and small business owners. Kalli Matsuhashi and Catherine Byers Breet are doing it again during COVID19!
Kalli Matsuhashi is a psychologist, executive coach and family-owned business coach … as well as a marriage and family therapist. She began her career in big business, as a management consulting with the Hay Group and PWC Consulting working in Japan. Along the way, while juggling a big job and busy family life, she realized that conflict and communication challenges were at the heart of most big issues. She went back to school to become a psychotherapist and counselor for both families and family-owned businesses. She is the perfect person to help you have courageous conversations at home and at work during this very challenging COVID19 time. Kalli has volunteered her time to speak at the Easter Job Transitions Group every year since its inception in 2008. We are thrilled to have her join us again.
