Lamy 2000 – An Exclusive Collector’s Item
At the intersection of a philosophy, a school of thought, an emotion and well crafted and exclusively executed design lies a product that we would all like to call a ‘collector’s item’. At IDC, we share the same spirit with the celebrated teachings of Bauhaus philosophy and their iconic, influential designs. Presenting the LAMY 2000… An exclusive fountain pen designed in 1966 by Gerd A. Müller.
The LAMY 2000 is one of the most iconic and recognizable pen designs of our times that celebrates the Bauhaus design philosophy, the same thread that is in the DNA of IDCians. In the same year, in 1966, The Founder of IDC, our very own Prof. Nadkarni, graduated from Ulm School of Design (HfG) in West Germany with its roots in Bauhaus. Check out the links:
As IDC gears itself to the next 50, the occasion and the timing to give back and pay forward seems even more special. Please take a few moments and generously contribute to IDC Alumni Legacy Projects fund help IDC continue to spread the word of Design in India.
