Tuesday (rescheduled) Etsy chat- Etsy business plan for 2021, and don’t put the eggs in one basket

Today we’ll talk about your Etsy business plan for 2021, why you need one, and what you need to think about when assigning yourself tasks and goals. I’ll also tell you the story of my youtube adventure and why you shouldn’t put all your eggs in one basket as far as your Etsy business or any online business goes.

2020 was a weird year, to say the least, and 2021 isn’t going to be like flipping a switch. It’s going to take time to have people comfortable enough to start buying in person again, so online sales are still going to be King for a while. You need to be aware of what is actually working NOW so that you can capitalize on those things and keep doing more of those things this year. I also talk about how to avoid being overwhelmed with “all the goals” syndrome, which is pretty common when you get excited about setting goals. You need to be aware of what’s realistic and what’s do-able without sending yourself into the pit of despair for not being able to finish anything because you have too much on your list.
